Hike to Peninha and Cabo da Roca

January 6 @ 12:45 pm

Cost: 20€ (10€ Transport + 10€ Organization)
Cabo da Roca

Cabo da Roca is the westernmost point of Europe. We are going to explore this part of Sintra’s mountain.

We will walk for about 9 kms between the monastery of Capuchos and Cabo da Roca. The most of the walk will be downhill.
To get there, we will first take the train to Sintra and then a taxi to go to the top of the hill.
Then we will walk for about 3 hours and enjoy the view in the top of Cabo da Roca cliffs.

We will also stop to see the great view from Peninha, very pleasant viewpoint in the centre of Sintra’s Mountain.

On the way back we will take a bus to Cascais and then the train back to Lisboa (Cais do Sodré).
I am expecting to be back in Lisbon around 8:30 pm.

Lets go to explore Cabo da Roca.
