The northern region of Lisbon is full of small hills and beautiful green areas. Even very close the capital, in some parts we can fell like being in the country side.
We are going to explore some of these hills and we are going to end up in an area with some small caves – Olelas caves.
These caves are about 20m long. There is nothing dangerous there.
On our way, we will find some quiet beautiful valleys and areas with a dense vegetation.
We will get there by train and come back in the same way.
We will walk for about 10 km in about 3 hours. In same points we will be going a beat up hill, but nothing too difficult.
We will have some cafés in our way, however it is better your bring your own food and drinks.
Make sure that you arrive to the train station with your zapping card charged. Otherwise, please arrive some minutes ahead.
I am expecting to be back at Rossio train station at 8 pm.
Lets go to explore Olelas Caves.
