Long time ago, Lisbon was surrounded by defensive walls that were more than 10kms long.
The large majority part of those walls have disappears along the centuries, but there are still some remnant pieces that are possible to see nowadays.
We are going walk in Lisbon trying to follow what in the past was the perimeter of the city walls.
This will be an urban hike, in which I am going to make some historical reference related to what we are going to see in our way.
It is an easy hike, but Lisbon is hilly, we will have to go up and down!
The charge for this activity is 10 euros per person and all explanations will be done in English.
We are meeting in Praça do Comércio – the big square by the river. We ‘ll meet just behind the statue of King Joseph on the horse.
Lets go to find the city walls.
